How big were the biggest dinosaurs?

Tiny says
The biggest dinosaurs of all had very long necks and very long tails. They're called titanosaurs. One of them, Patagotitan, weighed more than nine elephants put together! Scientists think it may be the longest dinosaur that ever lived.

How could they grow so big?
Giant bodies need giant dinners. A titanosaur could stand in one spot and swing its long neck high, low and wide to reach the best leaves. Its bones were full of air pockets, so they were light but still strong enough to hold up that enormous body.

How do scientists know how heavy they were?
Nobody can put a dinosaur on the scales. So scientists measure the bones they find and work out a best guess. Patagotitan's guess is a good one, because lots of its skeleton was found. Argentinosaurus is known from only a few pieces, so its weight could be quite far out.
