Do jellyfish have brains?
Wobble answers for ages 4–9, then goes 1 step deeper each time a child asks why.

Wobble says
Peek inside a jellyfish like me. I'm almost all water, with a web of tiny nerves spread all through my body. That web is called a nerve net. It lets me sense light and smell food. So, hee hee, there's no brain in here at all!

How do you know where to go without a brain?
My body is round and the same all the way around, a bit like an umbrella. My nerve net reaches every side. So I can notice food or danger coming from any direction, and my body reacts right away. Wobble, wobble!

In Lil' Phil, reaching the bottom of this wonder earns a sticker for Wobble's collection.
