Why do we dream?
Fuzz answers for ages 4–9, then goes 1 step deeper each time a child asks why.

Fuzz says
When you fall asleep, your brain keeps busy. It makes up pictures and feelings that play like a little show inside your head. That's a dream! Scientists think dreaming may help your brain hold on to memories and sort out your feelings.

Why do I have bad dreams sometimes?
Everyone has a bad dream now and then, even grown-ups. Sometimes your brain is working through a worry from your day, and sometimes there's no reason at all. A bad dream is only pretend, so it can't hurt you. Telling a grown-up about it can help you feel better.
